Our Guarantee

TCD will provide a professionally decorated dessert in a timely manner as specified in the original enquiry.  We appreciate your business, and we are honoured that you have chosen us for your special celebration. 

We guarantee that the flavours, size, and general design elements will be met as outlined. If you are not satisfied with our product(s) please let us know at the time you receive your order. 

Once your order has been placed, refunds will not be considered. 

Allergy Disclaimer

Please be aware that although we have processes in place to prevent cross-contact there is still a risk of the presence of any allergens including: eggs, wheat, soy, nuts & fish. All baking includes gluten & dairy.

Refund Policy

TCD will not offer refunds or exchanges for custom products that meet our quality standards. Once a product has been picked up/posted it has been accepted by you (or your designated third party). All products are the responsibility of the customer once they leave our possession.

Posted Items

TCD will post cookies Australia wide using Australia Post Express Service. This price will be at the cost of the client. 

When placing a custom order, please ensure you select the relevant order type (delivery or pick up). We have done everything possible to make this clear on our website. If you mistakenly place an order for the wrong type, you agree to pay the postage difference as soon as you notify us of the error. 

TCD takes every care to prepare your cookies for safe transit, but we take no responsibility for any damaged goods in transit. TCD is not responsible for any delays with Australia Post. Any lost or damaged items will need to be investigated with Australia Post.

Cakes can’t be posted.

Collection Terms

We will email you a week before your scheduled pick-up. Please read the email and reply to confirm your scheduled pick-up time by the Monday before pick-up. 

If you do not collect your baked goods on the nominated day and time, a rescheduling fee will apply of $10 per instance.

Design Variations

Although we make every attempt to provide an exact design and to match colours, custom bakes are a work of art. It may not be possible to match an exact shade of a colour, but we will come as close as possible. The same principle applies to our edible prints.

The final product may be subject to slight variations.  Also be aware the exposure to light can cause colours to change.

Care and Handling

We are not responsible for any damage to the baked goods after pick-up or after set-up is complete.  

If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up cookies, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the baked goods once they leave the possession of TCD.

TCD is not responsible for any damage to cookies caused by them being removed from their packaging and placed anywhere else. Safe food practices will rest with the involved parties and not with TCD. 

The client is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for cake(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 21 degrees or below.

TCD is not responsible for any damage to a cake caused by the placement of flowers by another party or other items on the cake, & the responsibility of the flower safety and safe food practices will rest with the florist and/or other parties and not with TCD.

Deposits, Payments, Cancellations

For online custom orders, all sales are final. Refunds will not be issued. 

Our custom orders book out months in advance, so unfortunately, we can’t usually accommodate date changes. Our cookies are individually heat sealed. When kept in this condition, in a cool, dark environment, they can be expected to last 4-6 weeks. If you find yourself with a significant date change, please reach out via email and we will see if we can accommodate a date change. 

If you need to change the designs of your custom order, changes must be made no more later than 2 weeks prior to the selected date. Any changes requested after this cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations. If you cancel after we have commenced or finalised your order, TCD reserves the right to resell, giveaway or donate the items in your order, without reimbursement to you. If your order contains business details or personal photographs, we will discard these items. All cancellations are final.

Photographs and Marketing

We respect the privacy of all our clients. We will not disclose the identity of clients (photographs of people, last names, event details, contract details) without permission. 

We do however, reserve the right to photograph baked goods and use those photos on our website, social media, or marketing materials. We also reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
