I haven’t always been in the kitchen..

I actually have a long background in the medical industry, working closely with doctors and specialists, eventually finding my way into the theatres of a private hospital in Newcastle.

Leaving behind the world of hospital corridors & surgical equipment,I embarked on a journey of self discovery by following my love of baking.

The decision to leave the high stress environment of healthcare for the comforting aroma of cookies took a lot of courage & determination, that had me questioning myself over and over.
